Community guidelines
The Student Hub is a platform for you to share information, discuss, engage, and create unique communities to make the most of your time at LSE. It’s important to keep in mind that the Student Hub is a space for all students, and that everyone has a duty to make sure that anything you post or publish on the Hub (content) is respectful, inclusive and appropriate.
Content is prohibited if it:
Is illegal
Is sexual or suggestive in content
Encourages or incites violence
Threatens, harasses, bullies, or encourages others to do so
Is confidential information
Impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner
Is defamatory
Is spam or junk (inappropriate mass marketing communications)
As a Hub User, you play an important part in moderating what you see and reporting anything offensive or inappropriate using the feedback feature in the app.
Once a user reports a comment, post, or behaviour on the Hub, the following action is taken:
The person who posted the content will be asked to take it down
If they don’t take it down, LSE will remove the content directly
If the person repeats any similar actions, we will remove their account from the Hub
To report inappropriate behaviour, please use the in-app feedback or email studenthub@lse.ac.uk.
If you choose to change your email address during the Student Hub registration process, you are only changing your email address for Student Hub-related communications. All other LSE communications will be sent to your LSE email address.
